A short stainless steel cage locked by passing a pin through a piercing in the glans. It is not held by a base ring, the pin passes through the body and holds the cage, so there is no problem of a ring slipping off, but a piercing is a precondition.
The pin is what holds the cage
There is a hole in the middle of the inside of the cage for the pin to pass through, and the side slots let you line the pin up. Two pins of different lengths are included, so you choose the one that matches the position of your own hole. There is a screw cap on the end, and once it is tightened it cannot be undone by hand.
A short, smooth tube shaped cage
The cage is a polished tube, rounded and closed at the front. A long slot is cut into the side, so the inside is visible and water passes through when you wash it. Being short, it takes up little bulk under clothing.

How to use

Disinfect the whole cage and both pins with rubbing alcohol and let them dry.

Line the PA piercing hole up with the hole inside the cage.

Choose whichever of the two pins matches in thickness and length and pass it through the hole.

Tighten the screw cap on the end to lock it, and keep the opening tool separately, as you would a key.

If you feel even the slightest resistance, do not push it in, stop right there.
Cleaning and storage
It is stainless steel, so you can wash it with lukewarm water and mild soap, and the pin should be disinfected with rubbing alcohol every time you use it. After urinating, run water through the side slots to rinse it, and since grime collects between the screw threads, work a soft brush through them. Rinse the area around the piercing with water only and avoid harsh cleansers. Leftover moisture makes the screw stiff, so dry it completely before you store it.
Caution
For adults only. Because this product uses a pin that passes through the glans, only people whose PA piercing is already fully healed can use it, and it must never be used on a fresh or healing piercing. The pin touches the urethra and the mucous membrane, so skipping the disinfection carries a high risk of infection. If tightening it brings a change of color, pain, bleeding, or discharge, release it at once and see a doctor.
