Spring-coil stainless steel chastity cage (3 ring sizes)

A stainless steel chastity cage made from thick wire wound like a coil. It is 7cm long and 3.5cm wide, and the ring is chosen from 4cm, 4.5cm and 5cm. The lock is a brass padlock that hangs on the outside.

The airflow that wound wire creates

The biggest difference from a closed cage is how much of it is open. The gaps between the coils are wide, so air passes straight through and sweat builds up less. Pouring water over it while locked rinses the inside immediately, which keeps daily care simple. Since the inside is fully visible, it is not the right choice if concealment is the goal.

Sizing and how to choose the ring

The cage is 7cm long and 3.5cm wide. The ring comes in 4cm, 4.5cm and 5cm, and the color is silver. The supplier advises choosing a ring 2 to 3mm larger than your actual measurement at the base. A ring in exactly your measurement will bind if any swelling occurs during wear. Of the three sizes, the one that leaves some room is the safer pick.

Washing and drying

The spaces between the wound wire are wide, so pouring water over it while locked rinses right through to the inside. If grime collects between the windings, go over them with a soft brush. After rinsing, shake the water off and dry it completely, and dry the padlock on the outside separately so the key does not stiffen.

What to know before you use it

The coil design has one clear drawback. Skin caught in the gaps between the wound wire gets pinched and hurts. Always check right after locking, and if anything is caught, unlock it and fit it again. Metal has weight, and in winter it is cold on first contact. A padlock hanging on the outside can catch on clothing or make noise as you walk.
