Stainless steel e-stim spreader clamp (screw adjust·vaginal and oral)

A clamp with two stainless steel arms drawn together by screws. There are two screws top and bottom, four in all, so the clamping width can be set gradually. Two snap fastener electrodes sit on the side, so connecting it to a pulse massager brings pressure and current at the same time.

What tightening by screw changes

With a clamp you squeeze by hand, the force is fixed the moment you let go. This one closes only as far as you turn the screws, so the supplier explains that it never bites down suddenly and you can build up little by little. Turning the four screws a little at a time in turn also reduces the chance of pressing on one side only.

Two electrodes facing each other

There is one electrode on each side of the clamp, so the two contact points face each other within a single device. The photographs show it laid out with a pulse massager with a screen and a white lead, but the supplier description does not say whether that unit is included. If you do not have a unit, you will need to obtain one separately.

Before you use it

The supplier states that it is rustproof medical grade steel and safe against the skin, while attaching conditions: alcohol disinfection before the first use, washing after use, and never passing it around between people. A photograph of it clamped in the mouth is posted with it, but the head and the neck are places current must never pass through, so when you use it in the mouth, run no current at all and use it as a clamp only. When pressure and current overlap, sensation dulls and it is easy to go too far without noticing the pain, so set a time limit and release it partway through to check.
