Electro-stim massager (4 electrode pads·TENS)

A pulse massager that sends current into the body through four pads. It is sold as a device for loosening the shoulders or the lower back, but with the dedicated accessories fitted it is also used on sensitive areas. It is powered in two ways, by three AAA batteries or by plugging in a USB charging cup to draw power directly.

Eight separate kinds of stimulation

The massage function is divided into eight modes, so you can pick stimulation with a different character, a tapping feel or a kneading feel. The flow changes independently of the strength, so the same strength feels quite different from one mode to another. Until you are used to it, it is better to stay on one mode and adjust only the strength.

Accessories change what it does

Fitting a dedicated accessory in place of a pad changes where the contact is made. The examples the supplier gives are a sounding rod inserted into the urethra, a conductive ring worn on the penis, and an electro plug inserted anally. The accessories are all sold separately, and this product contains the main unit, the pads, the leads, and the power adapter.

Current needs two contacts

At least two of the four outputs have to be used, and those two contacts must be of opposite polarity. The supplier explains that using two terminals on the same branch will not make current flow. The two contacts on the body must not touch each other either.

Before you use it

The supplier writes directly that sending current near the heart, the chest, or the breasts can affect the heartbeat. Keep the electrodes together on the same side below the waist and never set up an arrangement where the current crosses the body and passes through the heart. Left on one spot for more than 20 minutes, the skin reddens and stings. When a pad dries out the current concentrates at a few points and jabs, so dampening the sticky side slightly spreads the stimulation evenly. Pads are consumables that lose their grip, so in the end you will have to buy new ones.
