A cable that connects a pulse massager to the electrodes that touch the body. The unit itself often stays fine while only the cable fails, and because most shops sell them as a set, one broken cable means buying the whole device again. The supplier states that it sells this cable on its own.

The tips come in several shapes

There are two rounded tips, two straight pins, one rounded and one straight paired together, four straight pins, four rounded tips and other layouts. Which shape fits depends on the accessory that touches the body. The photos also show a cable that splits into four branches and a cable that attaches with snap fasteners.

It only plugs in if the standard matches

The supplier explains that these cables are built to an international standard and fit most of the pulse massagers on the market. The jack on the device end is bent at a right angle, so the cable is pressed less when you sit down with it attached. When you order, check both the socket on your unit and the contact shape on your accessories.

Before you use it

The warning the supplier gives the most weight to is about sequence. If you switch the unit on before both poles are touching the body, a strong current hits you all at once. Attach first and then switch on, switch off and then detach. A cable with split insulation is dangerous to keep using and has to be replaced, and water reaching it during use will short it out. On the electrode end, though, a dry surface concentrates the current on a few points and stings, so it is better to leave a thin film of water or water-based gel on the skin.
