What to know before you use it

At 3kg of metal, the arms and legs feel distinctly heavy once they are on. This is not something you unbuckle like leather restraints, it needs a padlock and a key, so key management is the whole of the safety. The neck collar goes on the most dangerous part of the body, so lock it with slack and never pull on it with a line.
