Stretch fabric hood (open eyes and mouth·covers to the neck)

A stretch fabric hood that covers the whole head. The eyes and the mouth are open, so the wearer can see their partner and can still use their mouth. It is a bondage accessory that hides the face so attention moves from expression to sensation.

The material is a highly elastic spandex fabric with the seams tidied off. It hugs the shape of the head and comes down to the neck at the bottom. The supplier says that it breathes well despite the close fit and does not get hot.

Several uses for covering the face

The supplier lists hiding the face while filming, wearing it as part of restraint play, and couples using it to change the mood. The reason the supplier puts forward is that covering the face moves attention away from each other's expressions and onto sensation. Since you cannot read expressions, though, you have to ask often, in words or by touch, how the wearer is doing.

A shape people also wear outdoors

The supplier notes that because it comes down to the neck, it is also used to keep the sun and the dust off while riding a motorbike. It is genuinely used that way in Vietnam, so the fabric is not thick and some thought has gone into airflow.

Before you use it

The product photos show four versions together: fully closed, open at the eyes only, open at the eyes and the mouth, and open at the mouth only. The supplier description is written for the version open at the eyes and the mouth, so check which version you are ordering. The fabric is thin, so the outline of the face shows through, and it clings to the face when wet.
