X-shaped bondage connector strap (faux leather·links wrists and ankles)

A connector piece that joins wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs together behind the back. Four black faux leather straps run out in an X from a metal ring in the center, and each end carries a clip that opens and closes. In the product photographs it fits in one hand.

Four clips gather everything at once

The straps are fixed with rivets, and clipping the four ends onto the rings of the cuffs brings the wrists and ankles together at a single point behind the back. The clips open by pushing them with a finger, so no key is needed to attach or release them. The straps are short, so the wrists and ankles are drawn close together, which is demanding for anyone whose body is stiff.

You do not have to use all four

Clipping all four ties the hands and feet into one bundle behind the back, but you can also clip just two to link only the arms or only the legs. If this is new to you, it is safer to start with two and see whether the position is bearable.

What to know before you use it

This piece on its own cannot restrain anything; you need wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs as well. Gathering four points behind the back arches the body backwards, which strains the shoulders and lower back, and the arms go numb if you hold it long. Face down it presses on the chest and makes breathing shallow, so finish quickly and keep checking on your partner's state. Sweat left on the metal parts makes the clips stiff, so wipe it down after use.
