Slave dog collar (padded·D-ring·adjustable buckle)

A collar padded with neoprene to make it thick. There is no original description, so only the construction that can be confirmed from the product photos is written here. There is a D-ring at the front for a lead, and a buckle at the back sets the neck circumference.

How it differs from a thin leather band

It is wide and has thick padding on the inside, so the surface against the neck is soft. The same force is spread across a wide area, so it does not cut in as a single line the way a thin band does. The edges are finished with a wrapping of black fabric.

The buckle and the D-ring

Several adjustment holes are punched in the band, so you fasten it one notch at a time to fit the neck. A lead or a chain can be clipped to the D-ring at the center of the front, and the metal parts are finished in black. Two versions appear in the product photos, one red and one in a camouflage pattern.

Before you use it

The neck becomes dangerous the moment it is tightened wrongly, so leaving room for two fingers is the basic rule. The thick padding makes it feel gentle, but pulled tight it still presses on the airway. Even with a lead on the D-ring, do not use it for dragging or pulling. Neoprene soaks up sweat, so dry it right after use to keep an odor from setting in.
