A two-layer leather hood that covers the entire head. It is divided into an inner face and an outer layer that opens and closes with zippers, so you can set in stages how much sensation is shut out.
A structure in two layers
The inner face has two eye holes and a small opening at the nose. Over it lies an outer layer with a zipper on each side, and closing the zippers hides the face completely. Leave the outer layer open and the wearer can see; close it and the vision is gone, so one hood gives you two states.
It fastens with a zipper below the neck
There is another zipper below the neck, so you put it over the head and then close it. Being a zipper rather than a buckle or laces, putting it on and taking it off is quick. The flip side is that a jammed zipper costs time when taking it off, so run the zippers a few times before use to check them.
Before you use it
