Ball gag (ABS ball·breathing holes·faux leather strap)

A ball gag held in the mouth. The ball is made of ABS resin and the strap that goes around the head is faux leather. The ball is drilled with vent holes, so air passes through the mouth as well.

Why the holes are there

Unlike a solid ball, this one is perforated. If the nose feels a little blocked, there is still room for air to move through the mouth. Saliva runs out of the same holes, and the supplier describes that sight itself as part of the appeal. A fair amount of saliva really does come out, so it is worth having a towel or a mat ready.

Breathing and signals come first

Someone wearing a gag cannot speak. That is why you have to settle on another kind of stop signal before it goes in. A common method is to put a key or a ball in their hand and release the gag the instant it is dropped. Check that they can breathe easily through the nose, and skip it on days when the nose is blocked.

Before you use it

The ball is plastic, so a long session makes the jaw joint ache and presses on the teeth. Release it every 10 to 15 minutes to rest the jaw. Do not use it on a full stomach or after drinking, since vomiting could block the airway. The faux leather strap soaks up sweat and saliva easily, so wipe it after every use to make it last.
