A natural rubber hood that covers the whole head. The eye area is closed off by a panel densely perforated with small holes, and several tubes run out from the nose and mouth. The tubes are 0.5cm in diameter, and a firm support ring wraps around the head to hold them. There is a zipper at the back and it comes in several colors.
The sizes are circumferences measured flat
The measurements the supplier gives are circumferences taken with the product laid flat. XS is 41cm around above the eyes with a 28cm neck, S is 43cm and 30cm, M is 45cm and 32cm, L is 47cm and 34cm, and XL is 49cm and 36cm. Latex stretches, so you must not compare these numbers directly with your own head circumference. The photo chart on the same page also lists head circumferences from 48.5cm for XS up to 65cm for XXL, with neck sizes from 30.5cm to 41.5cm. The sizes described in the written listing are the five of XS, S, M, L, and XL.
Breathing passes only through the tubes
The tubes held in the nose and mouth are the entire airway of this hood. A 0.5cm diameter is about the width of a drinking straw, so you cannot draw a full breath the way you normally would and your breathing turns shallow. The support ring around the head does hold the tubes, but if you shift about and a tube kinks or gets pressed under bedding, it closes off right there. That is why the person watching beside you has to keep an eye on the state of the tubes.
The eyes are covered by a perforated panel
The eye area is not closed solid. It is a panel with small holes punched densely through it. It is not complete darkness, and a blurred sense of light and shadow comes through. It is not enough vision to make out objects, so never let the person wearing it walk around alone.
Before you use it
This item is demanding to handle because the airway depends on a tube. It is not something to use alone, and it is not something to use after drinking. It is natural rubber, so it must not be used by anyone with an allergy, and contact with oil or oil based lubricant rots the material. How to use

Before you start, choose someone to watch over you and have them stand where they can open the zipper at once.
- STEP
Dust the inside with powder or apply a silicone based lubricant, open the rear zipper, then stretch it with your palms rather than your nails as you put your head in.

Set the position of the tubes held in the nose and mouth first, and check that no tube is kinked or pinched.

Close the zipper, then sit and breathe for about 1 minute, and take it off right away if it feels stifling.

While it is on, the person beside you must keep checking that the tube ends are not pressed against bedding or the body.
Cleaning and storage
After use, rinse the inside and outside of the hood with lukewarm water and flush water through the tubes to rinse them out. A fingernail catching on it while you wash and fold it tears that spot, so handle it with your palms held flat. Water left inside the tubes causes odor, so shake it out and dry them completely. Oils, creams, and oil based lubricants rot natural rubber, so keep them away, and contact with copper or brass leaves yellow stains. Once it is fully dry, dust it with powder, roll it up without creases, and store it in a cool, dark place.

For adults only. The supplier states that the material is natural rubber, so anyone with a latex allergy must not use it. The eyes are covered and breathing passes only through 0.5cm diameter tubes, so the airway closes the instant a tube is pinched or kinked. Do not use it alone. A sober person must watch beside you, and you must agree that they will open the zipper immediately at a hand signal. Do not use it after alcohol or drugs, or on a day when your nose is blocked, and because heat is trapped around the head, keep sessions short and take it off at once if you feel dizzy.
