The Lovetoy 7 inch Sliding Skin is a dildo in 2 layer TPE with a removable screw-on suction cup. What sets it apart is that the outer skin layer slides a short distance over the inner core.

The difference between one piece and 2 layers

A one piece product is evenly slick on the surface, and wherever it is firm it stays firm. A 2 layer build splits the roles. The inner core carries the firmness while the outer skin is soft and lags slightly behind as it slides. Grip the shaft lightly and the outer layer gives first, then you feel the firmness underneath. On insertion this skin layer does not stay in place, it moves with you. There is still enough overall firmness to hold the shape, so it never goes limp. The contours and veins are sculpted prominently, which creates light friction at slow speeds.

The screw fitting gives you two ways to use it

The suction cup screws onto the body. Tighten it and you can mount it hands free on tile, glass, a smooth cabinet surface, or a bathroom floor. Take the suction cup off and the base is flat, so it drops straight into a harness with an O-ring. Products with the suction cup molded in one piece cannot be used this way.

It holds the angle you bend it to

The inner core is flexible enough to bend but does not spring straight back. Bend it upward at an angle, let go, and it keeps that direction. That matters when you are lying on your side or mounting it on a wall at an awkward height. Set the angle once and you never have to reset it while you use it.

Choosing a surface

The suction cup only holds properly on a smooth, seamless surface. Rough painted walls, coarse wood, wallpaper, and tile with grout lines running through it all let air leak in. It holds best on glass, glossy tile, and smooth countertops.
