The control unit sits in your hand

There is one rotary switch on the control unit. Switching it on and off is all it does, and the intensity is not divided into steps. The cord between the egg and the control unit means there is always something to pull on, even with the egg inside the body.

The vibrating section is sealed

The vibrating part of the egg is sealed off, so it stands up to water. You can wipe the surface clean with water, which keeps care simple. The control unit holding the batteries and the circuit will break if it gets wet, though, so that has to be wiped with a dry cloth only.

The vibration is on the strong side

A low price does not mean weak vibration here. There is only one intensity, but that one intensity is set strong. People use it against the outside of the body to find a spot, and they also insert it. The outer surface is ABS resin, which is fine against sensitive skin.

What to know before you use it

Batteries are not included. They are taken out for shipping reasons, so you need two AA batteries ready if you want to use it the day it arrives. There is no intensity control either, and it runs at its set strength as soon as you switch it on, so the approach of starting weak and working up is not available. If you want to vary the strength, you are better off looking at a product with separate settings. The outer surface is hard plastic, so it feels firmer than a soft silicone product.
