Stainless steel anal spreader (wing-nut adjustment·opens to 9.5cm)

An anal spreader that opens eight arms gradually as you turn the screw. It is a tool made for opening the anus or the vagina so the inside can be seen, or stimulated with a hand or another instrument.

You insert the arms drawn together in one bundle and then turn the screw to open them. Because a screw sets the eight arms, there is none of the sudden opening you get when spreading by hand. Turn it a little and it opens exactly that much and holds there. It opens to about 9.5cm (3.75 inches).

The material is 304 stainless steel, which is safe against the skin and stands up to alcohol disinfection. The ends of the arms that go into the body are polished smooth into balls, so they do not scratch sensitive tissue. Being metal, it has weight and holds the opened position exactly as it was set.

What comes after opening

Held open, the inside stays accessible, so a finger or another instrument can go in to stimulate. The spreader is less a device that gives stimulation itself than a tool that holds things open for the next step.

Before you use it

Trying to withdraw it while it is open will injure you. Always turn the screw counterclockwise as far as it goes to close the arms before taking it out. Turning the screw far in one go puts sudden force on the tissue, so turn it a little at a time so all eight open evenly. Metal does not bend, so there is no give for the body to work with; use plenty of lubricant and reverse it immediately if it hurts. This is not a tool for someone taking their first steps in anal stretching.
