Stainless steel glans ring (304 steel)

This is a metal ring worn below the glans. The material is stainless steel 304 and it comes in three sizes: 2.2cm, 2.4cm, and 2.6cm. It works on the same principle as a cock ring worn at the base, but it catches in a different place.

A bevel that catches in the groove

The cross section of the ring is cut on a slant rather than level, and the upper side is narrower. Once fitted, the narrow side settles into the groove below the glans and catches there. Because of that shape, the ring does not simply slide off when the erection subsides. This cross section is what most distinguishes it from a plain round ring.

It wraps the most sensitive spot

The place where the ring catches is where the tendon on the underside, the frenulum, runs. It is the most sensitive part of the penis. The ring covers that spot and dulls the sensation, and the supplier describes this as a way to delay ejaculation.

Metal does not stretch. Pick the wrong one out of 2.2cm, 2.4cm, and 2.6cm and it either will not go on at all or sits loose. It constricts, so it should not be worn for long, and if sensation dulls or the color darkens you have to take it off then and there. Once the tissue has swollen, removal is far harder.
