Glans corona ring (stainless steel·bolt lock)

This is a stainless steel ring worn in the narrow groove just behind the glans. Someone with no piercing can wear it as it is, and for someone with a Prince Albert piercing there is a hole drilled through it so a rivet can lock it on.

Why it holds without a piercing

The ring is made to fill the groove behind the glans snugly. The glans is thicker than the ring, so once it is past, the ring will not slip forward even after the erection subsides. The original description says it is light enough that there is little downward pull even with continuous wear.

The option of locking it with a rivet

The ring has a hole drilled through it for a rivet to pass through. You put the screw into the urethral opening, run the rivet through the hole in the ring and through the piercing, engage it with that screw, and tighten it, and the ring is locked onto the body. Instead of the rivet you can also fit a penis piercing you already own through that hole. This lock only works if you have a Prince Albert piercing, and it is not needed if you only wear the ring.

Three measurements to take before ordering

If the size is wrong it will hurt or fall off. First, measure the circumference of the groove behind the glans and divide by 3.14 to get the ring diameter you need. Second, measure the length of the glans, which sets the length of the ring. Third, if you have a piercing, measure the gauge of the hole and the distance from the urethral opening to the hole in mm and tell us. The rivet hole is drilled to match that position. If you have no piercing, skip the third one.

Before you use it

It is made to measure, so a rough order comes back loose or painful. It is a constricting ring, so wearing it for long stretches cuts off circulation. Start short, 20 to 30 minutes at first, watch how your body reacts, and take it off regardless of the time if you feel numbness or see the color change. There is a step where a screw goes into the urethral opening, so disinfect your hands and the parts with alcohol before you handle them, and do not fit it onto an unhealed piercing. The lock is a tightened rivet rather than a key, so removing it means retracing the same steps, and you should keep a thin tool such as a toothpick within reach.
